Let\u2019s <strong>see <\/strong>which one is easier to answer off the top of your head.&nbsp; <strong>1.) How do we know we are hungry?&nbsp; 2.) When does our soul get hungry?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-5rl0j159\">\u6211\u6709\u5169\u500b\u554f\u984c\u3002\u5c0d\u60a8\u5011\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u54ea\u4e00\u500b\u66f4\u5bb9\u6613\u7acb\u5373\u56de\u7b54\u5462?&nbsp; <strong>1.) \u6211\u5011\u600e\u9ebc\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u5011\u9913\u4e86\uff1f&nbsp; 2.) \u6211\u5011\u7684\u9748\u9b42\u4ec0\u9ebc\u6642\u5019\u6703\u611f\u5230\u98e2\u9913\u5462\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-6p0g4163\"><strong>How do we know we are hungry?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-874r0165\">For most of us, when we get hungry, we might experience a growling stomach, cravings, light-headedness, headache, low energy or fatigue. Sometimes, we have a hard time staying focused and feel restless or even irritable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-r10np167\"><strong>\u6211\u5011\u600e\u9ebc\u77e5\u9053\u6211\u5011\u9913\u4e86\u5462\uff1f&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-dfstb169\">\u5c0d\u65bc\u5927\u591a\u6578\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u7576\u6211\u5011\u98e2\u9913\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u53ef\u80fd\u6703\u611f\u5230\u80c3\u5495\u5695\u5495\u5695\u53eb\u3001\u60f3\u5403\u6771\u897f\u3001\u982d\u6688\u3001\u982d\u75db\u3001\u7cbe\u529b\u4e0d\u8db3\u6216\u75b2\u52de\u3002\u6709\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5f88\u96e3\u96c6\u4e2d\u8a3b\u610f\u529b\uff0c\u611f\u5230\u7126\u8e81\u4e0d\u5b89\uff0c\u751a\u81f3\u7169\u8e81\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-i91no172\"><strong>How about our Soul? When does our soul get hungry? Or what makes our soul hungry?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-zv6z8174\">When chaos and challenges are thrown upon us, either by ourselves or others, or<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>when evils keep attacking or enticing us, we feel lost or the absence of God. This leads me to think, <strong>\u201cWhy does our soul get hungry more easily at times?\u201d <\/strong>When we forget to partake of the right food from God, who created our lives and gifted us souls, or when our faith in Christ begins wavering, our souls get hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-2iem2180\"><strong>\u90a3\u9ebc\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u9748\u9b42\u4ec0\u9ebc\u6642\u5019\u6703\u611f\u5230\u98e2\u9913\u5462\uff1f\u6216\u662f\uff0c\u4ec0\u9ebc\u72c0\u6cc1\u4f7f\u6211\u5011\u7684\u9748\u9b42\u5bb9\u6613\u611f\u5230\u98e2\u9913\u5462\uff1f&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-c9awj182\">\u7576\u6211\u5011\u9677\u5165\u6df7\u4e82\u548c\u9047\u5230\u96e3\u984c\u7684\u6642\u5f8c\uff0c\u4e0d\u8ad6\u662f\u81ea\u5df1\u6216\u4ed6\u4eba\u9020\u6210\u7684\uff0c<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u6216\u662f\u7576\u90aa\u60e1\u4e0d\u65b7\u7684\u653b\u64ca\u6216\u5f15\u8a98\u6211\u5011\u7684\u6642\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u6703\u611f\u5230\u5931\u843d\u6216\u89ba\u5f97\u4e0a\u5e1d\u4e0d\u5728\u6211\u5011\u7684\u8eab\u908a\u3002\u9019\u8b93\u6211\u518d\u6b21\u601d\u8003\uff0c <strong>\u201c\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u6211\u5011\u7684\u9748\u9b42\u6709\u6642\u5f8c\u6703\u66f4\u5bb9\u6613\u611f\u5230\u98e2\u9913\u5462\uff1f\u201d <\/strong>\u6211\u60f3\uff0c\u662f\u7576\u6211\u5011\u5fd8\u8a18\u5f9e\u5275\u9020\u6211\u5011\u751f\u547d\u4e26\u8cdc\u7d66\u6211\u5011\u9748\u9b42\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d\u90a3\u88e1\uff0c\u651d\u53d6\u4f86\u81ea\u7942\u7684\u9935\u990a\u7684\u6642\u5f8c\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u7576\u6211\u5011\u5c0d\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u4fe1\u4ef0\u958b\u59cb\u52d5\u6416\u7684\u6642\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u9748\u9b42\u5c31\u6703\u611f\u5230\u7279\u5225\u7684\u98e2\u9913\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-4m030189\">In the Bible, the word Soul and its concept are well mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-05bhx191\">\u5728\u8056\u7d93\u4e2d\uff0c\u9748\u9b42\u9019\u500b\u5b57\u53ca\u5176\u6982\u5ff5\uff0c\u591a\u6b21\u63d0\u53ca\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-yqp9t194\"><strong>God\u2019s Story \u795e\u7684\u6545\u4e8b&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-sa7cd197\">In Hebrew, the concept of the soul is mainly expressed by the noun<strong> \u05e0\u05b6\u05e4\u05b6\u05e9\u05c1 (nephesh).<\/strong> [It sounds like Net-Fish. \ud83e\udd14] &nbsp;It appears 760 times in the Bible. In the Old Testament, soul refers to <strong>a living being\u2019s vital life-force that interacts with its surroundings and needs to be satisfied for life to be sustained<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-sfha6205\">\u5728\u5e0c\u4f2f\u4f86\u6587\u4e2d\uff0c\u9748\u9b42\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u4e3b\u8981\u662f\u7528\u540d\u8a5e <strong>\u05e0\u05b6\u05e4\u05b6\u05e9\u05c1 \uff08nephesh\uff09<\/strong>\u4f86\u8868\u9054<strong>&nbsp;\u3002<\/strong> [\u807d\u8d77\u4f86\u50cf\u4f3c\u82f1\u6587\u7684: \u843d\u5165\u7db2\u7684\u9b5a\u3002 \ud83e\udd14] &nbsp;\u5b83\u5728\u8056\u7d93\u4e2d\u51fa\u73fe\u4e86 760 \u6b21\u3002\u5728\u820a\u7d04\u4e2d\uff0c \u9748\u9b42\u6307\u7684\u662f <strong>\u751f\u7269\u9ad4\u8207\u5468\u570d\u74b0\u5883\u76f8\u4e92\u4f5c\u7528\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u751f\u547d\u529b\uff0c\u9748\u9b42\u9700\u8981\u88ab\u6eff\u8db3\u624d\u80fd\u7dad\u6301\u751f\u547d<\/strong>\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-mx6o0216\">In Greek, the soul is expressed by the noun <strong>\u03c8\u03c5\u03c7\u03ae (psyche),<\/strong>&nbsp;which appears 1,077 times in the Bible. It has a similar semantic range as the Hebrew word. In the New Testament, soul refers to <strong>the inner self, life, and the person, and often has a holistic sense to it.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-cg0mh221\">\u5728\u5e0c\u81d8\u6587\u4e2d\uff0c\u9748\u9b42\u662f\u7528\u540d\u8a5e <strong>\u03c8\u03c5\u03c7\u03ae (psyche) <\/strong>\u4f86\u8868\u9054\u7684<strong>\u3002<\/strong>&nbsp;\u5728\u8056\u7d93\u4e2d\u51fa\u73fe\u4e86 1,077 \u6b21\u3002\u5b83\u8207\u5e0c\u4f2f\u4f86\u8a9e\u7684\u9748\u9b42\u55ae\u5b57\u5177\u6709\u76f8\u4f3c\u7684\u8a9e\u7fa9\u7bc4\u570d\u3002\u5728\u65b0\u7d04\u4e2d\uff0c\u9748\u9b42\u6307\u7684\u662f <strong>\u5167\u5728\u7684\u81ea\u6211\u3001\u751f\u547d\u548c\u6b64\u4eba\u672c\u8eab\u3002\u9748\u9b42\u9019\u500b\u8a5e\uff0c\u901a\u5e38\u65e8\u5728\u50b3\u9054\u4e00\u500b\u6574\u9ad4\u7684\u89c0\u611f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-rhntn229\">Therefore, the soul is the life-force of the person and often refers to the whole being. It needs to be sustained in order for life to thrive, and it is the seat of desires, emotions, and the will as I posted in Grace&#8217;s WeChat Share Group. <strong>The soul is gifted to be in intimate relationship with God and naturally be under God\u2019s judgment.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-30w1l232\">\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u9748\u9b42\u662f\u4eba\u7684\u751f\u547d\u529b\uff0c\u901a\u5e38\u610f\u65e8\u6574\u500b\u4eba\u7684\u5b58\u5728\u3002\u5b83\u9700\u8981\u88ab\u7dad\u6301\uff0c\u624d\u80fd\u8b93\u751f\u547d\u84ec\u52c3\u767c\u5c55\uff0c\u6b63\u5982\u6211\u5728\u6069\u60e0\u5802\u7684\u5fae\u4fe1\u5206\u4eab\u7fa4\u4e2d\u89e3\u91cb\u7684\u90a3\u6a23\uff0c\u5b83\u662f\u617e\u671b\u3001\u60c5\u611f\u548c\u610f\u5fd7\u7684\u6240\u5728\u5730\u3002 <strong>\u9748\u9b42\u64c1\u6709\u8207\u795e\u5efa\u7acb\u89aa\u5bc6\u95dc\u4fc2\u7684\u6069\u8cdc\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u81ea\u7136\u5730\u4e5f\u5c07\u6703\u53d7\u5230\u795e\u7684\u5be9\u5224\u3002&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-hqbra236\">With this basic understanding, let us recall two passages. In Genesis 2:7, it says \u201cThen the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and <strong>man became a living SOUL.\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;In John 1, it says \u201cJesus, the Word of God, was with God in the beginning of creation. At each moment when the Word of God is uttered, every living being and everything was formed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-8pi2v242\">\u6709\u4e86\u9019\u6a23\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u8a8d\u8b58\uff0c\u8b93\u6211\u5011\u56de\u9867\u5169\u6bb5\u7d93\u6587\u3002\u5728 \u5275\u4e16\u8a18\u7b2c 2 \u7ae0 \u7b2c 7 \u7bc0\u8aaa\uff1a\u300c\u8036\u548c\u83ef\uff0c\u795e \u7528\u5730\u4e0a\u7684\u5875\u571f\u9020\u4e86\u4eba\uff0c\u5c07\u751f\u547d\u7684\u6c23\u606f\u5439\u5165\u4ed6\u7684\u9f3b\u5b54\u88e1\uff0c<strong>\u4ed6\u5c31\u6210\u4e86\u6709\u751f\u547d\u7684\u9748\u9b42<\/strong>\u300d\u3002 \u5728 \u7d04\u7ff0\u798f\u97f3\u7b2c\u4e00\u7ae0\u8aaa\uff1a\u300c\u8036\u7a4c\u662f\u795e\u7684\u8a71\u8a9e\uff0c\u5728\u842c\u7269\u88ab\u9020\u4e4b\u524d\uff0c\u5c31\u8207\u795e\u540c\u5728\uff0c\u842c\u7269\u662f\u85c9\u8457\u9019\u500b\u9053\uff0c\u65e2\u662f\u85c9\u8457\u795e\u7684\u8a71\u8a9e\u6240\u5275\u9020\u51fa\u4f86\u7684\u7684\uff1b\u51e1\u88ab\u9020\u7684\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u4e00\u6a23\u4e0d\u662f\u85c9\u8457\u7942\u6240\u5275\u9020\u51fa\u4f86\u7684\u300d\u3002\u6bcf\u4e00\u6b21\u7576\u795e\u8aaa\u51fa\u7942\u7684\u8a71\u8a9e\u6642\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u500b\u751f\u7269\u548c\u4e00\u5207\u90fd\u88ab\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-tc0a2247\">That\u2019s why we believe that the Word of God has the power to form lives, to gift us souls,&nbsp; to redeem lives, to save lives, to restore lives, to nurture lives, to flourish lives, etc. Being the body of Christ by faith through grace, our souls are in an intimate<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>relationship with Jesus, and through whom, we are in intimate relationship with our heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-awtxd250\">\u9019\u5c31\u662f\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u6211\u5011\u76f8\u4fe1\u795e\u7684\u8a71\u8a9e\uff0c\u4e5f\u65e2\u662f\u795e\u7684\u9053\uff0c \u6709\u80fd\u529b\u5275\u9020\u751f\u547d\u7684\u5f62\u6210\u3001 \u6709\u80fd\u529b\u8cdc\u7d66\u6211\u5011\u9748\u9b42\u3001\u6551\u8d16\u548c\u62ef\u6551\u6211\u5011\u751f\u547d\u3001\u4e26\u6062\u5fa9\u548c\u6ecb\u990a\u6211\u5011\u751f\u547d\u3001\u4f7f\u751f\u547d\u7e41\u69ae\u7b49\u7b49\u3002 \u7531\u65bc\u6211\u5011\u8207\u8036\u7a4c\u7684\u95dc\u4fc2\uff0c\u900f\u904e\u8036\u7a4c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u9748\u9b42\u8207\u5929\u7236\u548c\u8056\u9748\u4e5f\u56e0\u6b64\u5efa\u7acb\u4e86\u89aa\u5bc6\u7684\u95dc\u4fc2\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-erqno253\">Therefore, we conclude that our intimate relationship with our Triune God started way back from the beginning of the creation to the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, until the final coming of our Lord.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-ujlbt255\">\u6240\u4ee5\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5f97\u51fa\u7d50\u8ad6\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u8207\u4e09\u4e00\u795e\u7684\u89aa\u5bc6\u95dc\u4fc2\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u8ffd\u6eaf\u5230\u795e\u5275\u9020\u842c\u7269\u4e4b\u6642\uff0c\u5ef6\u7e8c\u5230\u4e3b\u8036\u7a4c\u7684\u5fa9\u6d3b\uff0c\u4e00\u76f4\u5230\u4e3b\u8036\u7a4c\u7684\u518d\u6b21\u7684\u964d\u81e8\u3002&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-akcl7259\"><strong>Our Conundrum \u6211\u5011\u7684\u96e3\u984c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-zruul262\">Jesus says in Matthew 10:28, &#8220;Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear God who is able to destroy both soul&nbsp;and body in hell.&#8221;&nbsp; As people of faith, we are assured that <strong>our souls live on <\/strong>even though our bodies will decay and perish.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-fj1lt268\">\u8036\u7a4c\u5728\u99ac\u592a\u798f\u97f3\u7b2c 10 \u7ae0 28 \u7bc0\u4e2d\u8aaa\uff1a\u300c\u4e0d\u8981\u6015\u90a3\u53ef\u6bba\u8eab\u9ad4\u4f46\u4e0d\u80fd\u6bba\u9748\u9b42\u7684\uff1b\u60df\u6709\u8981\u6015\u90a3\u5728\u5730\u7344\u88e1\uff0c\u80fd\u6bba\u8eab\u9ad4\u548c\u9748\u9b42\u7684\u795e\u3002\u300d\u8eab\u70ba\u4fe1\u5f92\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u78ba\u4fe1\uff0c \u5373\u4f7f\u6211\u5011\u7684\u8eab\u9ad4\u6703\u8150\u721b\u548c\u6ec5\u4ea1\uff0c\u4f46\u6211\u5011\u7684<strong>\u9748\u9b42\u7e7c\u7e8c\u5b58\u5728<\/strong> \u3002&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-k6n0r271\">In John 6, Jesus also reminds us that physical sustenance alone is insufficient for our souls.&nbsp;We need the nourishment that comes from him, the Word of God. Nourishment makes the body of Christ grow, stay healthy, and keeps the immune system strong.&nbsp; The concept of keeping our souls is like how we keep our physical body healthy by eating well, exercising regularly, getting a good amount of sleep and avoiding unnecessary stresses.
