It can be when you attend a funeral feeling sorrowful but see people joyfully celebrating the life of the deceased one. It can also be when you feel a sense of fulfillment after graduating from college but feel nervous and stressed with the unknown future that awaits you.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-8yx0c125\">\u4f60\u662f\u5426\u66fe\u6709\u904e\u4e00\u7a2e\u8aaa\u4e0d\u51fa\u7684\u8907\u96dc\u7684\u611f\u53d7\uff1f\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u5fc3\u88e1\u6240\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u7684\uff0c\u548c\u5916\u5728\u74b0\u5883\u7684\u6c23\u6c1b\u4e0d\u7b26\u5408\u6642\uff0c\u90a3\u7a2e\u611f\u89ba\u3002\u9019\u6709\u53ef\u80fd\u767c\u751f\u5728\uff0c\u7576\u4f60\u53c3\u52a0\u846c\u79ae\u6642\uff0c\u5fc3\u7406\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u60b2\u50b7\uff0c\u548c\u5468\u906d\u7684\u4eba\u70ba\u6b7b\u8005\u4e00\u751f\u7684\u751f\u547d\u4f86\u559c\u6085\u7684\u6176\u795d\u6642\uff0c\u90a3\u7a2e\u8907\u96dc\u7684\u611f\u89ba\u3002\u6216\u8005\u662f\u7576\u4f60\u5f9e\u5927\u5b78\u525b\u7562\u696d\u5f8c\u6240\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u4e00\u7a2e\u6210\u5c31\u611f\uff0c\u540c\u6642\u5c0d\u8457\u672a\u77e5\u7684\u524d\u9014\u611f\u5230\u7dca\u5f35\u548c\u58d3\u529b\u6642\uff0c\u90a3\u7a2e\u8907\u96dc\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-i2wgl128\">We all have mixed feelings from time to time. Sometimes our mixed feelings can be magnified and lose control<strong>&nbsp;if we have no strong values in our lives that can ground us and calm us down. <\/strong>For example, during and after the pandemic, the eagerness of wanting to have certainty in life seemed increasingly pronounced. As a result, the emotions of impatience and intolerance are coordinately magnified. For most of us, a quick fix seems like the way to go if it\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-mbaw6132\">\u6211\u5011\u6642\u6642\u90fd\u6703\u6709\u8907\u96dc\u7684\u611f\u53d7\u3002\u5982\u679c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u6c92\u6709<strong>\u5805\u5b9a\u7684\u50f9\u503c\u89c0<\/strong>\uff0c\u6709\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u8907\u96dc\u60c5\u7dd2\u6703\u88ab\u653e\u5927\uff0c\u4e26\u5931\u53bb\u63a7\u5236\u3002 \u4f46\u5982\u679c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u6709<strong>\u5805\u5b9a\u7684\u50f9\u503c\u89c0<\/strong>\uff0c\u5b83\u53ef\u4ee5\u8b93\u6211\u5011\u8173\u8e0f\u5be6\u5730\u3001\u4f7f\u6211\u5011\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\u5e73\u975c\u4e0b\u4f86\u3002\u4f8b\u5982\uff0c\u5728\u75ab\u60c5\u671f\u9593\u548c\u75ab\u60c5\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u4eba\u5011\u5c0d\u751f\u6d3b\u638c\u63e1\u6b0a\u7684\u6e34\u671b\uff0c\u8d8a\u4f86\u8d8a\u660e\u986f\u3002\u5728\u6b64\u7a2e\u60c5\u6cc1\u4e0b\uff0c\u4e0d\u8010\u7169\u548c\u4e0d\u5bec\u5bb9\u7684\u60c5\u7dd2\uff0c\u76f8\u5c0d\u7684\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u88ab\u653e\u5927\u4e86\u3002\u5c0d\u6211\u5011\u5927\u591a\u6578\u7684\u4eba\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u4efb\u4f55\u4e8b\uff0c\u90fd\u6709\u5feb\u901f\u7684\u89e3\u6c7a\u65b9\u6848\uff0c\u4f3c\u4e4e\u662f\u6700\u597d\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-159u3138\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-449mx140\"><strong>The Story of God \u795e\u7684\u6545\u4e8b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-jaqx7143\">Palm Sunday is when Jesus\u2019 disciples have mixed feelings of <strong>joy and confusion.<\/strong>&nbsp;The story tells us that the crowd gathers, welcomes Jesus entering Jerusalem, and shouts<strong>&nbsp;with excitement, <\/strong>\u201cHosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord\u2014 the King of Israel!\u201d If I were there, I would feel joyful and proud to be part of the crowd calling Jesus the blessed king, but at the same time I might have felt confused and angry because I knew that the same crowd would eventually choose the criminal over Jesus and would shout <strong>with anger,<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cCrucify Jesus!\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-1z09g151\">\u5728\u68d5\u6ada\u4e3b\u65e5\u9019\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u8036\u7a4c\u7684\u9580\u5f92\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u559c\u6085\u548c\u56f0\u60d1\uff0c\u5fc3\u60c5\u7279\u5225\u8907\u96dc\u3002 \u8056\u7d93\u88e1\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\u544a\u8a34\u6211\u5011\uff0c\u7fa4\u773e\u805a\u96c6\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff0c\u6b61\u8fce\u8036\u7a4c\u9032\u5165\u8036\u8def\u6492\u51b7\uff0c\u4e26\u61f7\u8457\u8208\u596e\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\uff0c\u9ad8\u558a\u8457\uff0c\u300c\u548c\u6563\u90a3\uff01\u5949\u4e3b\u540d\u800c\u4f86\u7684\u4ee5\u8272\u5217\u738b\u662f\u61c9\u7576\u7a31\u980c\u7684\uff01\u300d\u5982\u679c\u7576\u6642\u6211\u5728\u90a3\u88e1\uff0c\u6211\u6703\u611f\u5230\u9ad8\u8208\u548c\u81ea\u8c6a\u3002\u56e0\u70ba\u80fd\u548c\u7fa4\u773e\u4e00\u8d77\u9ad8\u558a\uff0c\u8036\u7a4c\u662f\u4e00\u4f4d\u53d7\u795d\u798f\u7684\u541b\u738b\uff0c\u4f46\u540c\u6642\u6211\u53ef\u80fd\u4e5f\u6703\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u56f0\u60d1\u548c\u61a4\u6012\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u6211\u77e5\u9053\uff0c\u540c\u6a23\u7684\u9019\u7fa4\u4eba\uff0c\u6700\u7d42\u6703\u9078\u64c7\u91cb\u653e\u7f6a\u72af\u800c\u4e0d\u662f\u8036\u7a4c\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u9084\u61a4\u6012\u5927\u558a\u8457\uff0c\u300c\u628a\u8036\u7a4c\u91d8\u6b7b\u5728\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\uff01\u300d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-h8lca154\">The scripture that we have from John was written several years later. It says that the disciples couldn\u2019t understand what was happening at the time but got it later after Jesus\u2019 resurrection. They saw the big picture of God\u2019s saving plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-usa1x156\">\u6211\u5011\u77e5\u9053\uff0c\u7d04\u7ff0\u798f\u97f3\u66f8\uff0c\u662f\u4e8b\u5f8c\u5e7e\u5e74\uff0c\u624d\u88ab\u64b0\u5beb\u6210\u7684\u3002\u4eca\u65e5\u7d93\u6587\u4e5f\u63d0\u5230\uff0c\u7576\u6642\u9580\u5f92\u7121\u6cd5\u7406\u89e3\u767c\u751f\u4e86\u4ec0\u9ebc\uff0c\u4f46\u5728\u8036\u7a4c\u5fa9\u6d3b\u5f8c\u624d\u660e\u767d\u3002\u4ed6\u5011\u770b\u5230\u4e86\u795e\u62ef\u6551\u8a08\u5283\u7684\u5927\u5c40\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-xvawk160\">This makes me think of a Chinese idiom: The mantis focuses on the cicada but is unaware of the siskin, or bird, behind. It refers to predators not looking what is behind but only focusing on what is in front of them, the prey. Satan is like the mantis. God is like the Siskin. And we are like the cicadas, the followers of Jesus. And Jesus is playing the role of the cicada on our behalf because we are not capable of winning this battle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-j6p3g162\">\u9019\u8b93\u6211\u60f3\u8d77\u4e86\u4e2d\u570b\u7684\u4e00\u500b\u6210\u8a9e\uff1a\u87b3\u8782\u6355\u87ec\uff0c\u9ec3\u96c0\u5728\u5f8c\u3002\u5b83\u6307\u7684\u662f\uff0c\u63a0\u98df\u8005\u5ffd\u7565\u4e86\u8eab\u5f8c\u6709\u751a\u9ebc\uff0c\u53ea\u5c08\u6ce8\u5728\u4ed6\u5011\u773c\u524d\u7684\u7375\u7269\u3002\u6492\u65e6\u5c31\u50cf\u9019\u96bb\u87b3\u8782\u3002\u4e0a\u5e1d\u5c31\u50cf\u4f3c\u9019\u96bb\u9ec3\u96c0\u3002\u6211\u5011\u5c31\u50cf\u87ec\u4e00\u6a23\uff0c\u662f\u8036\u7a4c\u7684\u8ddf\u96a8\u8005\u3002\u8036\u7a4c\u7576\u6211\u5011\u7684\u66ff\u8eab\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u6211\u5011\u6c92\u6709\u80fd\u529b\u8d0f\u5f97\u9019\u5834\u722d\u9b25\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-8m3th165\">Satan might have thought he had everything under his control. He had the perfect plan to get Jesus killed so that his followers would be scattered and die eternally. The plan was to play with the hearts of people, the fear and ignorance of the crowd, the jealousy and anger of the religious leaders, and the greed, shame, and guilt of Jesus\u2019 disciples. The location was set to be outside Jerusalem at Calvary, and the method was the capital punishment of crucifixion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-qta38167\">\u6492\u65e6\u53ef\u80fd\u8a8d\u70ba\u4e00\u5207\u90fd\u5728\u4ed6\u7684\u638c\u63a7\u4e4b\u4e0b\u3002\u4ed6\u6709\u4e00\u500b\u5b8c\u7f8e\u7684\u8a08\u5283\uff0c\u8981\u6bba\u6b7b\u8036\u7a4c\uff0c\u9019\u6a23\u4ed6\u7684\u8ffd\u96a8\u8005\u5c31\u6703\u56db\u5206\u4e94\u5217\u4e26\u9762\u81e8\u6c38\u9060\u7684\u6b7b\u4ea1\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u8a08\u5283\u662f\u8981\u73a9\u5f04\u4eba\u5011\u7684\u5fc3\u3001\u7fa4\u773e\u7684\u6050\u61fc\u548c\u7121\u77e5\u3001\u5b97\u6559\u9818\u8896\u7684\u5ac9\u5992\u548c\u61a4\u6012\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u8036\u7a4c\u9580\u5f92\u7684\u8caa\u5a6a\u3001\u7f9e\u6065\u548c\u7f6a\u60e1\u611f\u3002\u5730\u9ede\u662f\u5b9a\u5728\u8036\u8def\u6492\u51b7\u57ce\u5916\u7684\u5404\u5404\u4ed6\u5c71\uff0c\u65b9\u5f0f\u662f\u88ab\u91d8\u5728\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u7684\u6b7b\u5211\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-773l5170\">Satan was sitting comfortably and watching with satisfaction as the story unfolded. Well! God was also watching for Satan to fall into the trap. God knew how treacherous Satan was and how weak human\u2019s minds were from the very beginning of creation. That was why Jesus, his only Son, had to play this role on our behalf. God is always ahead of Satan. Didn\u2019t Jesus himself predict his betrayal three times in the New Testament?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-hb1r7172\">\u6492\u65e6\u8212\u670d\u5730\u5750\u8457\uff0c\u6eff\u8db3\u5730\u770b\u8457\u6545\u4e8b\u7684\u5c55\u958b\u3002\u4e0d\u5de7\u4e86\uff01\u795e\u4e5f\u5728\u8a3b\u8996\u8457\u6492\u4f46\u843d\u5165\u9677\u9631\u3002\u795e\u5f9e\u5275\u4e16\u4e4b\u521d\u5c31\u77e5\u9053\u6492\u4f46\u6709\u591a\u8a6d\u8a50\uff0c\u4eba\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u6709\u591a\u8edf\u5f31\u3002\u9019\u5c31\u662f\u70ba\u4ec0\u9ebc\u8036\u7a4c\uff0c\u7942\u7684\u7368\u751f\u5b50\uff0c\u5fc5\u9808\u4ee3\u66ff\u6211\u5011\u3002\u795e\u6c38\u9060\u8d70\u5728\u6492\u4f46\u7684\u524d\u9762\u3002\u8036\u7a4c\u81ea\u5df1\u5728\u65b0\u7d04\u8056\u7d93\u4e2d\uff0c\u4e0d\u4e5f\u662f\uff0c\u4e09\u6b21\u9810\u8a00\u4ed6\u6703\u88ab\u51fa\u8ce3\u55ce\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-owp5r175\">Later, Jesus\u2019 disciples understood God\u2019s saving plan because many scriptures prophesied in the Old Testament were fulfilled through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Zechariah prophesied Jesus would ride a donkey and be called as a king while entering Jerusalem in 9:9, and Judas Iscariot would betray Jesus by taking 30 silver coins in chapter 11:12-13. Being arrested and handed over to be tried by Roman officials, the gentiles, in Psalm 22, Jesus followed through the interrogation as the suffering servant in Isaiah 53. Finally, Jesus took all our curses onto himself to the cross in Deuteronomy 21:22-23, and his body was intact without any broken bones after crucifixion in Exodus 12:46 and Psalm 34:20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-qjhr1177\">\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u8036\u7a4c\u7684\u9580\u5f92\u660e\u767d\u4e86\u795e\u7684\u62ef\u6551\u8a08\u5283\uff0c\u56e0\u70ba\u820a\u7d04\u8056\u7d93\u4e2d\u7684\u8a31\u591a\u9810\u8a00\u90fd\u5728\u8036\u7a4c\u7684\u751f\u3001\u6b7b\u548c\u5fa9\u6d3b\u61c9\u9a57\u4e86\u3002\u6492\u8fe6\u5229\u4e9e\u5728 9:9 \u9810\u8a00\uff0c\u8036\u7a4c\u5c07\u9a0e\u8457\u9a62\u9032\u5165\u8036\u8def\u6492\u51b7\uff0c\u4e26\u88ab\u7a31\u70ba\u738b\uff0c\u5728 11:12-13\u9810\u8a00\uff0c\u7336\u5927\u5c07\u62ff\u8d70 30 \u500b\u9280\u5e63\u51fa\u8ce3\u8036\u7a4c\u3002\u5728\u8a69\u7bc722 \u7ae0\u4e2d\u9810\u8a00\u4e86\uff0c\u8036\u7a4c\u88ab\u902e\u6355\u4e26\u88ab\u4ea4\u7d66\u5916\u90a6\u4eba\u5be9\u5224\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u7f85\u99ac\u5b98\u54e1\u3002\u5728\u4ee5\u8cfd\u4e9e\u66f853 \u7ae0\u4e2d\u9810\u8a00\u5230\uff0c\u8036\u7a4c\u4ee5\u53d7\u82e6\u50d5\u4eba\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\u63a5\u53d7\u4e86\u5be9\u8a0a\u3002\u6700\u5f8c\uff0c\u5728\u7533\u547d\u8a1821 \u7ae022-23\u7bc0\u4e2d\u9810\u8a00\uff0c\u8036\u7a4c\u5c07\u5728\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\uff0c\u80cc\u8ca0\u8457\u6211\u5011\u6240\u6709\u7684\u5492\u8a5b\u3002\u5728\u51fa\u57c3\u53ca\u8a18 12:46 \u548c\u8a69\u7bc7 34:20 \u4e2d\u9810\u8a00\uff0c\u8036\u8607\u53d7\u5211\u5f8c\u7684\u8eab\u9ad4\u5b8c\u597d\u7121\u640d\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u9aa8\u6298\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-jaeae182\"><strong>Challenges \u6311\u6230<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-sc5kr23775\">As we can see, if we don\u2019t know the story of God well, we are in trouble. We can\u2019t connect dots to see the big picture of God\u2019s saving plan. Whenever our lives don\u2019t go the way we expect, we get confused, frustrated, and wonder if God is real, alive, and cares for us. If we don\u2019t see a quick fix in our lives, someone needs to be the scapegoat. We may blame ourselves, others, or something. The scariest thing is that we blame God. Whenever that happens, we act as the one in the crowds, shouting, \u201cCrucify Jesus.!\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-v35n3186\">\u6b63\u5982\u6211\u5011\u525b\u525b\u63d0\u53ca\u8056\u7d93\u4e2d\u9810\u8a00\u7684\u61c9\u9a57\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u6211\u5011\u4e0d\u4e86\u89e3\u795e\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\uff0c\u9ebb\u7169\u53ef\u5927\u4e86\u3002\u6211\u5011\u7121\u6cd5\u4e86\u89e3\u795e\u62ef\u6551\u8a08\u756b\u7684\u5927\u5c40\u3002\u6bcf\u7576\u6211\u5011\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u6c92\u6709\u6309\u7167\u6211\u5011\u671f\u8a31\u767c\u5c55\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5c31\u6703\u611f\u5230\u56f0\u60d1\u3001\u6cae\u55aa\uff0c\u4e26\u61f7\u7591\u4e0a\u5e1d\u662f\u5426\u771f\u5be6\u3001\u6d3b\u8457\u3001\u95dc\u5fc3\u6211\u5011\u3002\u5982\u679c\u6211\u5011\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u5feb\u901f\u89e3\u6c7a\u7684\u8fa6\u6cd5\uff0c\u5c31\u627e\u4eba\u6210\u70ba\u66ff\u7f6a\u7f94\u7f8a\u3002\u6211\u5011\u53ef\u80fd\u6703\u8cac\u602a\u81ea\u5df1\u3001\u8cac\u602a\u4ed6\u4eba\u6216\u662f\u8cac\u602a\u4efb\u4f55\u4e8b\u7269\u3002\u6700\u53ef\u6015\u7684\u662f\u6211\u5011\u8cac\u602a\u795e\u3002\u6bcf\u7576\u9019\u7a2e\u60c5\u6cc1\u767c\u751f\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5c31\u6703\u50cf\u4f3c\u4eba\u7fa4\u4e2d\u7684\u4eba\u4e00\u6a23\u9ad8\u558a\u8457\uff1a\u300c\u628a\u8036\u7a4c\u91d8\u6b7b\u5728\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\uff01\u300d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-qhuho189\">What came to your mind today when you entered the sanctuary seeing all the palm leaves on the floor?&nbsp; Did you feel comfortable stepping on those leaves that are supposedly to be held in your hands? Let me ask another question, what do we normally do with the leaves after Palm Sunday?&nbsp; Exactly, we throw them away. Or the church keeps some to burn them into ashes for the next Ash Wednesday. Something looks holy but not that holy, our humanity. Whenever we are in doubt, we seek God. In God, we see Jesus. In Jesus, we see that our lives matter. God is here and has never left. A great reminder is the eternal light in the sanctuary. It\u2019s lit 24\/7. God has been working in and through your lives and the ministries you do. What can we give to God in return for His Love? The best way is to accept the crown of love. That crown of love stands by to save whoever encounters challenges each day. Because only through the crown, can we love as Christ loved, lead others back to God as Christ did.
